Oh look, fillets. Having neglected to put the launch lug on when I should have, I had to resort to laparoscopic techniques. I slipped the lug on a piece of 1/8″ rod. One piece of tape was added to keep the lug from sliding forward while the other was used to mark how far in the lug was supposed to go. Then I applied glue to the lug and put it in place.Once the glue was dry I pulled out the rod, then used a bamboo skewer to apply glue fillets.
That’s it. Next we paint. It was about 43°F at the start of today’s bike ride, so no painting today. Looks like wind tomorrow and… well, not sure when next painting opportunity will be. Possibly May.
