It’s a little too humid for my liking for paint this week, so I’m devoting rocket time to assembly. Having at last done the paint + foam test on the MLAS nose cone, I no longer need access to the bottom of the nose cone, so I finally could proceed with gluing on the shoulder.
Here’s a test fit of the stack, with the nose weight in place. The instructions suggest a razor saw to cut the foam nose cones in half for thrusters, but I used a single edge razor blade. Those were glued into place.
