I decided long ago — I mean years — I wanted to do the White Sands Round 3 paint scheme for my V-2. The other day I primed, and yesterday, finally, the humidity got down low enough for me to decide to apply the white paint. Then I went and looked up the paint scheme to figure out how to mask for the black.
Round 3 was not black and white. It was black and yellow.
Like I said, years.
If I have yellow paint, it’s the wrong yellow, and the humidity’s going up again, so that rocket won’t get yellow for a while.
